62nd INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION WITH GHANAIAN COMMUNITIES
• Mission on Saturday, 30th March, 2019, hosted members of the Ghanaian Community in Guinea to a reception in honour of Ghana's 62nd Independence Anniversary Celebrations at the Auditorium of Gamal Nassar University, under the theme "Celebrating Peace and Unity".
• Her Excellency Ambassador Jane Gasu Aheto on the occasion, extended warm and fraternal greetings from His Excellency President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, and the Government and People of Ghana to His Excellency President Alpha Conde, and the Government and People of the Republic of Guinea.
• While expressing appreciation of the Government and People of Ghana to the Government and People of Guinea for the hand of friendship, support and cooperation over the years, Her Excellency entreated every Ghanaian living in Guinea to endeavour to be an Ambassador of Ghana, law-abiding and also to accord due respect for the policies and authority of their adopted country, Guinea.
• Outlining the Government's developmental agenda to the Ghanaian Community, Her Excellency encouraged the citizens to support His Excellency the President's vision of "Opportunity and Prosperity For All" and "Ghana Beyond Aid" by contributing to the establishment of small-to-medium scale enterprises and taking advantage of the numerous opportunities in various sectors of the economy that could be harnessed by all Ghanaians for the accelerated economic development and prosperity of the country.
